Elena’s Studio Newborn Session

Studio newborn sessions are so much fun, especially after doing your maternity session. I love meeting your baby, seeing the little details you’ve been waiting to meet, and hearing your birth story if you feel like sharing. Those sessions are calm and gentle — posed and lifestyle options, soft wraps, cozy blankets, and simple props that keep the focus on your family and your new baby.

What to expect:

  • A relaxed, unhurried studio session tailored to your baby’s schedule.

  • Gentle posing and safety-first handling throughout.

  • Time for parent and sibling portraits, plus close-up details: tiny hands, toes, and sleepy faces.

  • A comfortable space for feeding, changing, and cuddling.

Why I love combining maternity + newborn:

  • Continuity in style and color creates a meaningful collection you’ll treasure.

  • I already know your aesthetic and what felt special at the maternity session.

  • We can document the full chapter: the anticipation and the first days together.

Tips for your session:

  • Bring a few outfit options for parents and siblings in neutral, soft tones.

  • Pack any favorite swaddles, a go-to outfit for baby, and a white noise machine if you use one.

  • Plan to feed and comfort baby as needed — sessions flow around their needs.

  • Expect about 60-90 minutes.

If you’d like to share your birth story, I’ll listen — it’s one of my favorite parts of meeting new families.

My studio, Little Rabbit, is centrally located off I-25 with easy access from the University and Hampden exits. The space is filled with soft natural light and simple, calming touches: a cozy couch, a daybed, a selection of chairs, a plain white wall, and sheer white curtains that frame the windows. We can keep your session minimal and airy or add more layers and props depending on your style and preferences. You’re welcome to bring your own blankets, knit booties, favorite stuffies, or any personal items you’d like included to add a bit of your story.
