Kate’s Studio Maternity Session
I love studio maternity sessions, especially when paired with a newborn collection—there’s something meaningful about capturing the before and after. My natural-light studio is a calm, neutral canvas designed for simple, beautiful portraits that highlight your connection and the quiet, real moments of this season.
What to expect
Maternity: Soft, flattering light, minimal styling, and thoughtful posing to celebrate form and emotion. I focus on timeless images—sweeping silhouettes, gentle detail shots, and intimate family frames if you choose to include a partner or older children.
Newborn: In-studio or in-home newborn sessions that prioritize comfort, safety, and those tiny details—hands, feet, lashes, and sleepy cuddles. Sessions are relaxed and unhurried to capture natural, peaceful moments.
The collection approach: Booking both sessions creates a cohesive story—maternity portraits that lead naturally into newborn images, with consistent tones and a unified visual style. It’s a beautiful way to document the full arc of this transition.
