Sonia & Dakota’s May Wedding at the Denver Botanic Gardens - York Street
This was a truly magical afternoon and evening at the Denver Botanic Gardens York Street location in Denver in early May. The ceremony took place under the tent at the West Terrace and was by followed a quick stroll around the gardens with Sonia and Dakota while the guests enjoyed the start of cocktail hour on the adjacent patio prior to dinner in the Orangery.
The dinner table ran the length of the Orangery and was set for 100 guests. Planned with intention so that everyone could sit together as one group of friends and family alongside the bride and groom.
Drinks flowed as laughter and animated conversation ran the length of the patio. The guests were as colorful as the flowers in the garden and guitar music set the mood for the party. The staff took amazing care of their guests serving up appetizers, custom cocktails and a delicious dinner.
As a Denver wedding photographer the Denver Botanic Gardens York Street location is truly a dream to photograph at and I was so grateful to document Sonia and Dakota’s gorgeous celebration.
