Milestone Studio Sessions
What to Expect
The sessions I offer are lightly posed moments that are meant to simply and artistically capture your child as they are right now.
When you first arrive I find it typically works best to allow your child a little bit of time to get comfortable and to investigate the space. We can discuss which chairs and areas of the studio you most prefer and then gradually start taking photos.
Please let me know any thoughts and goals for your session and if there is anything in particular that you want to incorporate please let me know. You are welcome to bring a favorite toy, book, or stuffy. If your child has a favorite song or musician we can ask Siri to play anything that might help make the session more fun. FYI, I am the mom of three kids ages 6-17 and have pretty much seen it all, so please don’t worry if we need to take a break and re-set or if it takes your child a few minutes to warm up to me. Usually by the end they are having so much fun that they may not want to leave!
Having a non-messy treat your child enjoys is always good to have on hand. I also have apple juice boxes, string cheese, granola bars, etc. in the studio as well so just ask!
The Details
“Little Rabbit Studio” is a small natural light studio at my home in Englewood right on the Denver border.
It is located close to the I-25 and University or I-25 and Hampden exits.
The address is 2117 E Dartmouth Circle, Englewood 80113. If you are running behind or need to reach me the day of the session for any reason please text or call me at 720-297-4767.
The studio is attached to my house but completely separate - it is a fully renovated studio in the former garage. The entrance is on the left side of the studio and you are welcome to park in the driveway when you arrive!
I have multiple furniture options including, a couch, multiple small chairs, daybed a wooden highchair and more. This is a gorgeous light bright space to make beautiful images in!
The bathroom is located in the main house but you are welcome to use it as needed. You are welcome to bring any extras from home that you would like to include such as books, blankets, a favorite toy or accessories such as hats etc.
Ideas on What to Wear and Extras
Soft neutral fabrics always work well and patterns can be great too. Simple earthy tones work well. Pops of color are fun and add visual interest. If there is a special blanket, toy or any special clothes/accessories you would like to incorporate please let me know.
Think about simple earthy tones.
Texture always looks great in photos!
Don't forget about footwear! Bare feet can be an option for some of the images.
